Do you have sufficient food, water and other necessities at home to take care of yourself for 72 hours? Here's a shopping list that may be of help:- Water - 2 to 4 litres of water/person/day (Remember: water is needed for drinking, cooking & cleaning). Include some small bottles that can be transported easily in case of evacuation.
- Food - non-perishable - consider canned and dried foods, energy bars, etc.
Water & food should be stored in a dry place and replaced once a year
- Can opener (manual)
