Within the Downtown Port Perry Heritage Conservation District (HCD), a Heritage Permit is required to undertake exterior changes to properties because of their historic or architectural significance.

Applicants are requested to arrange a pre-consultation meeting with Building Department Staff to confirm their plans and determine if additional permits are required, such as a Sign Permit or Building Permit.
