BUILDING INSPECTIONS

Once a building permit has been issued, a building inspector will be assigned to your project to ensure that the construction or installation is completed to the minimum standards of the Ontario Building Code. Township Staff will attend job sites at required intervals to assist and ensure that each construction stage has been completed in compliance with the reviewed drawings. Homeowners can benefit from the knowledge and experience of our building inspectors and may avoid costly construction mistakes.

The Building Division also carries out inspections related to complaints about building without permits, unsafe buildings, fire-damaged and vehicle-damaged buildings.
Please call the Municipal Office to arrange for the required inspections.
