Building Division of the Community Services Department provides advice and review of building construction through examination of building applications, and the carrying out of inspections, including building, heating, plumbing, etc.

How to Apply for a Building Permit

To apply for a building permit, you must file an application, along with the necessary drawings and the required fee. Permit plans are reviewed by Township Staff to ensure that they meet the Ontario Building Code and other related standards, by-laws and applicable law, including fire safety systems. Permit application forms can be picked up at Municipal Office. The form is also available by clicking below. Please note that you may also be required to apply to the Township for Site Alteration Permit and Sign Permit.
