In the event of a dangerous chemical, biological or radioactive release into the air, you will be instructed to shelter-in-place.

- Close and lock all windows and exterior doors
- Close all window coverings
- Turn off vents, fans, HVAC
- Shut fireplace dampers
- Seal cracks around doors and vents with duct tape
- Take your emergency kit and radio and seek shelter in a small interior room with no or few windows until advised that the order to shelter-in-place has been lifted.
