The Lookout is Scugog's free, supervised youth drop-in space. It is located on the upper floor of the Scugog Community Recreation Centre (1655 Reach St., Port Perry). Due to COVID restrictions currently in place, we have decided to close the Lookout starting today, Tuesday, November 16 for drop-in visitors.
Make sure to follow us to find out about our holiday special event in December, and a grand re-opening in the spring!

The Draft 2022 Capital Budget Virtual Open House will be taking place on tonight (Monday, November 8) at 6:30pm. To access the virtual open house, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jSOqwPaIyw.

Office Closures November 11 Remembrance Day
The Municipal Office and the Fire Administration Office will be closed Thursday, November 11, 2021 for Remembrance Day and will reopen Friday, November 12 at 8:30 a.m.

Scugog – Carbon Monoxide (CO) Awareness Week takes place each year to better prepare homeowners to protect themselves and their families from the dangers of carbon monoxide. Whitby, Ontario – On behalf of The Regional Municipality of Durham, Neptune Technology Group will be scheduling appointments with property owners whose water meters are 20 years or older.
When: Residents may receive notices from now until March 2022.
Why: To upgrade existing water meters and update user accounts to allow the Region of Durham to conduct remote readings.
