Scugog – Scugog Fire and Emergency Services has launched a new burn permit application process and residents can now apply for 2022 general, recreational, oversize, and agricultural permits online. A permit is required for all burning in Scugog and the new platform has created a more efficient application and approval process for both residents and staff.

Effective Monday, January 31, the province will ease health restrictions to allow reopening of sports and recreation amenities, restaurants, and shopping with 50 per cent capacity limits.
