On behalf of the Township of Scugog we send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the people of the Commonwealth on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our longest-reigning Sovereign. Flags at all township facilities have been lowered in her Majesty’s honour and a book of condolences will be available at our municipal office.

Palmer Park Playground Redevelopment to Start in September

Construction of a new playground in Palmer Park is set to begin in September.  The project is part of the revitalization work identified in the Waterfront Action Plan. The new playground is expected to provide an accessible space to bring children and youth from the Township together in a safe, outdoor setting that will provide both physical and mental health benefits.

We Want Your Ideas to Help Shape the 2023 Scugog Budget

The Township of Scugog is preparing the 2023 budget and wants to hear from residents and property owners about their budget priorities. Scugog provides programs and services to the community based on an annual Operating and Capital budget. Each year staff take the seeds of new ideas for programs and service improvements and grow them into valuable assets that benefit the community.
