COVID-19 Public Notice #10: Scugog Extends closure of public facilities, postpones programs and cancels events until July 3

The Township of Scugog is extending the closure for all public facilities, parks, playgrounds, recreation amenities, and cancelling programs and large events including Canada Day, up to July 3, 2020.
“The Township continues to assess and adjust our dates as needed,” said Scugog CAO, Paul Allore.
“We continue to listen to the health officials and decided to extend our closures in our ongoing effort to protect the health of our residents.”

Under the Declaration of Municipal Emergency in effect for Scugog and following the direction and guidance of Regional and Provincial Health information and orders, the Township of Scugog will extend the closure of all public facilities and the cancellation of programs and events until further notice.
