Lifted NewsScugog – Effective May 1, 2021 the April burn ban will be lifted in the Township of Scugog.
As a reminder, a burn permit must be obtained prior to any burning.  All guidelines for burning must be followed.

BAN LOGOScugog – Please be advised that effective April 1, 2021, a Municipal-wide burn ban will be in effect for the entire month of April. Residents will be notified when the ban is lifted.
There will be zero tolerance for burning during the burn ban. Under Part 4, Enforcement and Penalties of the Open-Air Burning By-law 81-19, those having a fire during the burn ban can be charged under the Provincial Offences Act and will also be responsible for the costs associated with...
