There are several galleries in the Township of Scugog where residents and visitors can enjoy arts and culture: Kent Farndale GalleryThe Kent Farndale Gallery exhibits work in a number of different mediums by emerging and established artists and craftspeople. The gallery is located in the Scugog Memorial Library. Meta4Meta4 is located in downtown Port Perry. Showcasing and selling Canadian fine crafts and original art, Meta4 also offers art-related courses. Scugog Council for the ArtsThe Scugog Council for the Arts, Resource Centre and Gallery is a great source of information for local artists, arts events and cultural entertainment.

The Township of Scugog has an active theatre community offering great performances at Town Hall 1873 and the Scugog Shores Museum. Local theatre groups include: Theatre on the RidgeTheatre on the Ridge, (formerly Theatre 3x60) is a not for profit, professional, collaborative theatre company that aims to communicate stories that enable participants to think, feel and perhaps broaden their existing insights into the world and human nature. BoreliansThe Borelians theatre company is committed to excellence in theatre, producing classic and contemporary works that challenge, educate and, above all, entertain their audiences.
