2022 Heritage Conservation District Grant Program

All property owners in the Downtown Port Perry Heritage Conservation District are being advised that a Heritage Conservation District Grant Program has been approved by Council.

This Program is designed to encourage the restoration and improvement of building facades in the Heritage Conservation District. Landowners of either contributing and / or non-contributing buildings in the District are eligible to apply.

To be eligible for a Heritage Grant for consideration in 2022, draft applications including scope of the work must be received by March 11, 2022.  Landowners are required to contact Christy Harrison at charrison@scugog.ca to submit the draft proposal and to obtain comments/input from the Township’s Heritage Advisory Committee.

A final application, including two contractor quotes and professional drawings must be received by March 28, 2022. The Committee will review the final applications during their meeting on April 5, 2022, and their recommendations will be forwarded to Council for review and consideration.
