2021 Heritage Conservation District Grant Program

All property owners in the Downtown Port Perry Heritage Conservation District are being advised that a Heritage Conservation District Grant Program has been approved by Council.

This Program is designed to encourage the restoration and improvement of building facades in the Heritage Conservation District. Landowners of either contributing and / or non-contributing buildings in the District are eligible to apply.

To be eligible for a Heritage Grant for consideration in 2021, draft applications including scope of the work must be received by February 19, 2021.  Landowners are required to contact Christy Harrison at charrison@scugog.ca or 905-985-7346 ext. 115 to arrange a pre-consultation meeting with the Township's Heritage Advisory Committee to present their proposals prior to February 25, 2021.

A final application, including two contractor quotes and professional drawings must be received by March 19, 2021.  The Committee will then consider and approve final applications by April 6, 2021. The Committees recommendation must then be finalized by Council.
