The Township of Scugog has welcomed two new crossing guards to our team and there will now be a regular guard located at the intersection of Simcoe Street and Queen Street and a spare crossing guard available to cover absences.

However, we are still seeking additional guards to cover the intersection of Simcoe Street and Reach Street and provide coverage during absences. If a crossing is unable to be covered due to an absence the location will be posted on the Township social media.

To apply for a Crossing Guard position, please email works@scugog.ca or call 905-985-7346 Ext. 112. The position pays $18.95 per hour with up to 10 hours of work per week.

Please take extra care around school zones and obey crossing guards. We all play an important role in keeping our children and youth safe!
