Family Day Fun Event!

The Township of Scugog is happy to welcome back the Family Day Fun event this Monday, February 20, 2023, at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The recreation team, in partnership with community sponsors, offers free activities for families including crafts, games, princess guests, inflatables, balloon making, face painting, a magic show, fire truck tours, public skating and more! Participants will use their “Passport to Fun” to check off all the activities they can which is then entered into a draw for a chance to win a free summer camp registration.

Skate programs will also be offered during the day. Please note admission fees do apply. 

• Adult Skate: 8:00-8:50 AM
• Parent and Tot Skate: 9:00-10:20 AM
• 6 & Under Stick N' Puck: 10:30-11:20 AM
• FREE Public Skate: 11:30-2:30 PM (intermittent breaks for ice floods will occur)
• All Ages Stick N' Puck: 2:30-3:20 PM

Please note: In the February edition of the Focus magazine and school board flyer, skate times were listed as 2:00-3:00 PM. These times have been extended since publication to 11:30 AM-2:30 PM for more family day fun!
