The Township of Scugog is home to some of the best farmland in Southern Ontario. Over 340 farm businesses occupy more than 68,000 acres of land in Scugog. Revenues related to agriculture equal more than $60 million per year.  Many of our local farmers offer products at their farm markets.
Agri-businesses in the industry include:

• Machinery and implement dealers
• Grain handling and drying facility
• Dozens of specialty retailers catering to the farming community
