2023 Holiday Closures

Over the holidays, there will be various closures in Township buildings including the Municipal Office, Fire Administration Office, Scugog Community Recreation Centre, and Durham Region Health Department Office. Please make note of the following closures when visiting each facility:

Municipal and Fire Administration Offices

Closed at 12:00 p.m. December 22 until January 1, 2024. Both offices will reopen for service at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Scugog Community Recreation Centre

Closed at 12:00 p.m. on December 22, as well as full-day closures from December 24 to 26. The facility will reopen on December 27 and 28, then the front office will close at 12:00 p.m. on December 29 with no drop-in programs running throughout the day. The facility will have adjusted hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 31, with a full closure on January 1, 2024. The facility will then fully reopen Tuesday, January 2, at 8:30 p.m.

Durham Region Health Department Office

Closed at 12:00 p.m. December 22, and closed all day December 25 and 26. The office will then reopen December 27 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., then close again December 29 at 12:00 p.m. The office will fully reopen January 2 at 8:30 p.m.
