Film Notice – August 27, 2024

NE Way Home Productions Inc. will be filming in Scugog Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Please see below the filming notification from the production company:

We will be filming INTERIOR and/or EXTERIOR scenes at 139 Queen Street and Palmer Park Dock, Port Perry.

• Prep: Monday, August 26 – 7am to 7pm
• Filming: Tuesday, August 27 – 6am to 11pm
• Wrap: Wednesday, August 28 – 7am to 7pm

Our production vehicles and various pieces of film equipment will be located on:

• East side of Water Street between North Street and Mary Street (based on construction footprint)
• North side of Queen Street near Water Street
• South side of Queen Street near Water Street
• Scugog Lot 5* – 204 Water Street
• Latcham Centre – 121 Queen Street

*Scugog Lot 5 will see a number of spaces blocked off for crew and set vehicles, however, the remaining spaces will be open to the public. Expect temporary restrictions to access of the lot when filming is occurring.

We will begin reserving the above areas with cones on August 26 at 7am, with vehicles arriving August 26 around 9pm and departing August 27 by 11pm.

During filming we may have intermittent traffic stoppages on:

• Water Street between North Street and Mary Street
• Queen Street between Water Street and Perry Street

Our scenes involve filming down by the Palmer Park Dock and include filming of a funeral procession down Water Street. We will be returning for another day of filming in September. A filming notification will be sent out with exact dates and times for our September visit.

We look forward to returning to Port Perry for the third season of The Way Home.
