Notice of Time Change to Upcoming Council Meeting of January 26, 2026

Please take notice that; the previously scheduled Council meeting of Monday, January 26, 2026, originally scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. will now begin at 4:30 p.m.

The meeting will begin in closed session to consider the following matters:

• Two (2) confidential matters pursuant to Sections 239(2)(e) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, to discuss (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board and (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, with respect to matters pertaining to the Ontario Land Tribunal.
• One (1) confidential matter pursuant to Sections 239(2)(c) and 239(2)(f) of the Municipal Act, 2001 to discuss (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board and (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, with respect to an easement agreement.
• One (1) personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees pursuant to Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, with respect to an Appointment to the Economic Development Advisory Committee.
• One (1) personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees pursuant to Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, with respect to Livestock Investigator(s).

The closed session portion of the meeting will not be livestreamed or open to the public. 

The open session of the meeting is scheduled to commence at 6:30 p.m.

The agenda will be published and available for the public to view as of Thursday, January 22, 2026.
