Scugog Parking Enforcement and Permitting Strategy public survey and Open House

The Township of Scugog is inviting residents, business owners, and stakeholders to participate in an online survey and upcoming Public Open House for the Scugog Parking Enforcement and Permitting Strategy.

Parking plays a critical role in our community, impacting traffic flow and economic development. This strategy is intended to explore the feasibility of a parking permitting program that optimizes parking resources, supports economic development, and enhances livability. Your insights and feedback are important in shaping these parking management strategies in Scugog.

The online survey is now live and open to all residents, visitors, and businesses. These categories have separate surveys tailored to each experience; if you fall under multiple categories, please complete the survey for each as they all offer valuable insight into different parking uses. The surveys can be accessed through our Scugog Parking Enforcement Study project page.

At the Public Open House, the project team will share key details about the study and facilitate interactive activities to collect your feedback on the parking challenges and opportunities in Scugog.

Details of the Event:

  • When: Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Where: Scugog Community Recreation Centre (1655 Reach Street)

Can’t attend in person? All presentation materials will be available on the project page after the event.
