Second Access to Scugog Island – Draft Class Environmental Assessment Addendum now Complete

The draft Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Addendum for the Second Access to Scugog Island has now been completed. A copy of the draft report is available here.

The draft Class EA Addendum report is scheduled to be presented to members of Scugog Council at the Planning and Community Affairs Committee meeting on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.

Members of the public may request to speak to Council at the meeting, regarding the draft study, by completing a Delegation Request Form and submitting the form online prior to 4:30 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

The proposed overall route of the Second Access to Scugog Island is shown on the accompanying map. Construction of the southern link of the access is proposed to begin in Spring 2025 and construction of the northern link in 2027.
