Scugog residents are reminded the final 2022 tax installment due date is fast approaching. Please remit payment to the Township of Scugog by September 22, 2022 to avoid late payment charges.

New Crossing Guards Hired for Scugog with One Crossing Still in Need of Coverage

The Township of Scugog has welcomed two new crossing guards to our team and there will now be a regular guard located at the intersection of Simcoe Street and Queen Street and a spare crossing guard available to cover absences.
However, we are still seeking additional guards to cover the intersection of Simcoe Street and Reach Street and provide coverage during absences. If a crossing is unable to be covered due to an absence the location will be posted on the Township social media.

Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Scugog will hold a Special Council meeting pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 on Monday, September 12th, 2022, in the Council Chambers located on the 2nd Floor of the Municipal Office, 181 Perry Street, Port Perry. On behalf of the Township of Scugog we send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the people of the Commonwealth on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our longest-reigning Sovereign.
