2025 Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment program is now open

Are you looking for a way to give back, challenge yourself, and be part of something bigger? We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Firefighters!

What You'll Do:

• Respond to fire, rescue and emergency calls
• Assist in providing fire safety education to the community
• Train in firefighting, rescue and first aid skills
• Work as part of a supportive and committed team

What We're Looking For:

• Community-minded individuals
• Good physical health and willingness to learn
• Dependable, team-oriented and ready to step up when needed

Applicants must live within the Township of Scugog, be 18 years of age or older, possess a valid Ontario driver’s licence (G or higher), and be in good physical health.
