Filming Notification – August 25, 2025

Silverstrand Production Services Inc. will be filming in Scugog Monday, August 25, 2025. Please see below the filming notification from the production company:

We will be filming Interior & Exterior scenes on Queen Street, Port Perry.

PREP: Sunday, August 24, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Filming On: Monday, August 25, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

WRAP: Tuesday, August 26, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our production vehicles and various pieces of film equipment will be located on:

• The back section of Municipal lot #5
• The east side of Water St between Queen St & North St
• In some of the Parking Laybys on Queen Street between Perry St & Water St 

We will begin reserving the above areas with cones on Sunday, August 24, at 7:00 a.m. with our filming production vehicles arriving same evening, between 9:00 and 11:00 p.m. and departing Monday, August 25, by 10:00 p.m. We will hold these spaces for our wrap out crew through Tuesday, August 26, until 5:00 p.m.

Parking lanes on Queen Street between Water Street and Perry Street will be blocked off starting 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, until approximately 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, to allow for an unobstructed early morning scene. 

An additional scene takes place on the roadway and for safety reasons a temporary full closure is required on Monday, August 25. The closure will begin after 5:00 p.m. to minimize disruption to residents and businesses.

All our filming and related activities are undertaken under the authority and approval of the Township of Scugog. ANY INTERMITTENT TRAFFIC STOPPAGES/CONTROL will be conducted under the safe supervision of the Paid Duty Police Service.
