Notice of Construction – Byers Road Cross Culvert Replacement

Scugog – Township of Scugog will be undertaking the removal and replacement of a cross culvert located on Byers Road, approximately 250m west of Old Scugog Road. Please be advised that work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 26, pending weather conditions. The work is expected to last one day. 

Expected disruptions include:

• Closure of Byers Road between Cartwright West Quarter Line and Old Scugog Road
• Local traffic will be permitted on the road, but will not be able to pass through the work zone

A detour will be in place, guiding traffic northward to Regional Road 19 and around the construction zone.

Please exercise caution when driving and walking in this area.
