Township of Scugog Wins Gold at 2025 Marcom Awards

Scugog – We are very honoured and excited to announce that the Township of Scugog has won a Gold Award at the 2025 Marcom Awards for our recent Communications Strategy campaign, highlighting that it exceeded the “high standards of the industry norm”! Our campaign was entered into the Strategic Communications, Communications/Public Relations, and Communication Program categories; the submission is viewable here for anyone interested.

Our submission highlighted the tactics used to carry out the campaign, as well as the results we received. We thank you all for your participation in this initiative; we were very pleased to see the number of community members who engaged with the survey and submitted feedback on how we can improve our communications tactics. Without your participation, this campaign would not have been successful!

As you can guess, we are not done here. The goal of this campaign was to identify the ways that we can improve our communications and better serve you, our community, in the future! We are currently in the process of analyzing the results and using them to create a new and improved Corporate Communications Strategic Plan. More updates to follow!

We would also like to announce the winner of this project’s giveaway, Amy Pemberton! Amy is now the proud owner of a Scugog Recreation Skate Pass, Museum Admission Tickets, and a gift card for local shops.
