The Scugog Memorial Public Library has something for everyone and offers:

  • Public computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office software
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Exhibits that change monthly at the Kent Farndale Gallery
  • Storytime and other children's programs (babies to teens)
  • Library Makerspace with access to 3D printing, X-tool laser cutter, Cricut machine and accessories (heat presses and a mug press) and a large format printer.
  • Movie screenings on our big screen
  • Book clubs and craft nights for adults
  • March Break and Summer Reading Club Programs
  • Community rooms available for rent, to hold meetings or workshops
  • Small study rooms
  • Free exercise classes for 55+ in partnership with Community Care
  • Free author events in partnership with the Lake Scugog Historical and Heart of the Story
  • Fascinating presentations with North Durham Nature and travelogues with Jonathan van Bilsen
  • Online services, such as downloadable e-books and audiobooks, and magazines

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
