Fire Inspections

The Township of Scugog's Fire Prevention Officer performs building inspections to ensure they meet the standards of the Ontario Building Code and the Ontario Fire Code. 

When do I need an inspection? 

A fire inspection may be required when: 

• You are selling a property 
• You are completing renovations 
• You have installed a wood stove 
• You change the zoning of your property
