Scugog Shores Museum Village
The Scugog Shores Museum Village is located at 16210 Island Road, and is open from May to September every year. We are open for general admission from May 21 to August 31, 2025!
We also offer education programs, outreach opportunities, and special events throughout the year.
The research room is temporary closed for appointments and requests. Once re-opened, you can visit here to find more information on the Archives.
The Village shows what daily life was like in Scugog from the mid 1800s to mid 1900s. We preserve, research, interpret and exhibit artifacts related to the cultural and natural history of the Township of Scugog area. The Village includes:
- 11 restored buildings
- Heritage flower, herb and vegetable gardens
- Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands
Guided tours are available Wednesday to Sunday during open season (May - September) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the cost of admission.
