The Township of Scugog has many programs, services and projects thanks to volunteer efforts throughout the community. To provide support for these efforts, we offer grant opportunities for organizations.

Community Grant Fund

The Community Grant Fund supports not-for-profit groups that provide our community with great programs and services. Grants are provided to help organizations:

  • Run programs
  • Provide services
  • Complete special projects

** To align with Council's meeting schedule, applications will be due by 4:30 PM on the following dates:

  • March 15, 2023 (for events occurring between April-June)
  • June 15, 2023 (for events occurring between July-Sept.)
  • September 15, 2023 (for events occurring between Oct.-Dec.)
  • December 8, 2023 (for events occurring between Jan.-March in 2024) 

The 2023 Meeting Dates to review applications are as follows:
November 10, 2022 (Jan-March events in 2023)
March 20, 2023 (April-June)
June 19, 2023 (July-Sept)
September 18, 2023 (Oct-Dec)

December 11, 2023 for the year 2024

Scugog Youth Initiative Grant

Fore Scugog Youth Initiative Grants - Submission Intake is Closed

The Golf Donations Committee submission window for 2022 has closed. We hosted the 2022 Fore Scugog Charity Golf Tournament and the event was a success in raising funds which will be awarded in 2023. 

Youth groups / organizations within the Township of Scugog are encouraged to apply for proceeds from the 2022 Annual Fore Scugog Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the Township of Scugog. 

 The following criteria have been established for distribution of the funds:

  • Recognized Youth organizations in the Township of Scugog

 The objective of the Committee is to direct funds towards Scugog youth in one of the following areas:

  • enhance/improve youth infrastructure in Scugog
  • assistance to participate in a recognized youth organization and or events
  • assist with continued education.

 Annual Fore Scugog Charity Golf Tournament - 2022 Event 

The Township of Scugog hosted the 2022 Fore Scugog Charity Golf Tournament on September 15, 2022  hosted at the Sunnybrae Golf Club.  

Our Annual Fore Scugog Charity Golf Tournament is held in September raising funds for youth initiatives in Scugog. Since 2003, approximately $190,000 has been distributed to various youth initiatives throughout Scugog. 

Funds raised at the tournament assist youth in Scugog through:

  • Bursary program at the Port Perry High School
  • Funding for recognized Scugog youth organizations
  • Improve Township youth oriented infrastructure in Scugog
